Why does Greening the Financial System matter to us? Views from Public & Private sectors

A panel discussion with Matthew Scott of BEIS/BoE and Investec Asset Management experts

We are pleased to invite all Oxford alumni and guests to our next economics and finance themed networking event - a panel discussion on the subject "Why does Greening the Financial System matter to us? Views from the Public and Private sectors''.

Chaired by Ariana Adjani, Co-Founder of Fine Treatment, alumna of Oxford University (St Antony's College) and LSE (Department of Management), the distinguished panel of speakers will discuss how the sustainability imperative is changing the political, regulatory and investment landscape.

The keynote presentation will be delivered by Matthew Scott, Head of Green Finance, Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS), previously Head of Climate Hub at the Bank of England and Associate Fellow of Said Business School, Oxford.

The views from private sector will be shared by Tom Nelson, Deidre Cooper, Matt Evans (Investec Asset Management portfolio managers) and Therese Niklasson (Global Head of ESG, Investec Asset Management).

The event will be generously hosted by co-CEO Domenico (Mimi) Ferrini and Executive Director Rongrong Huo of Investec Asset Management. It will be held at the offices of Investec Asset Management in London's Basinghall Street on Thursday, 15 November 2018.
