THE GEORGETOWN CLUB OF THE UNITED KINGDOM INVITES ITS ALUMNI AND FRIENDS TO ATTEND A PRIVATE LECTURE AND EXHIBITION TOUR OF FRIDA KAHLO AT THE V&A ON FRIDAY 13 JULY 2018 AT 18:00.


Timings:
17:50 = Please come to the Meeting Point in the Grand Entrance at Cromwell Road to avoid dissapointment

18:00 sharp = 30 MINUTE INTRODUCTORY TALK – Frida Kahlo: Making Herself Up. Our speaker will be Julia and the V&A have kindly given us access to this opportunity after-hours for them. Not to be missed!

18:30 to 21:00 = EXHIBITION - Due to the curation of the space and to ensure we get the best out of the exhibition (i.e. no overcrowding) we will go in 5 per time slot. The time slots are every 15 minutes.

FRIDA KHALO - Making Herself Up: Experience a fresh perspective on Kahlo's compelling life story through her most intimate personal belongings.
This exhibition presents an extraordinary collection of personal artefacts and clothing belonging to the iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. Locked away for 50 years after her death, this collection has never before been exhibited outside Mexico.
