Following the hugely successful American Cabernet Sauvignon tasting that was held earlier this year in San Francisco, the Institute of Masters of Wine is thrilled to be able to replicate this event in London.

It will be a walk around tasting of 105 wines from the outstanding 2012 vintage, including the best Cabernet-based wines from California, Washington, Colorado, Texas and Virginia.

The selection will include wines from Cain Five, Cakebread Cellars, Duckhorn Vineyards, Grgich Hills, the Hess Collection, Hogue Cellars,  Mount Veeder, Inglenook, Pahlmeyer, Paul Hobbs, Joseph Phelps, Ridge Vineyards. Spotteswoode, Stag’s Leap, and Viader.

Many of the wines will be from Napa Valley, including the sub-AVAs of Atlas Peak, Calistoga, Howell Mountain, Mount Veeder, Oak Knoll, Oakville, Rutherford, Spring Mountain, Saint Helena and Stag’s Leap District. Wineries representing Sonoma County and its AVAs Alexander Valley, Dry Creek and Sonoma Mountain will also be present. Rounding out the California offerings will be wines from Santa Cruz and Paso Robles. There will also be a strong contingent of wines from Washington State and its AVAs: Columbia Valley, Horse Heaven Hills, Red Mountain, Walla Walla and Yakima Valley as well as samples of very interesting wines from Grand Valley (Colorado), Texas High Plains, and Monticello (Virginia).

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to taste a wide range of the top American Cabernet Sauvignon wines.
